At Nue, we're not just another cafe and deli. Our owner and head chef, Mario, has a personal connection to the gluten-free lifestyle.
He was diagnosed with celiac disease several years ago, which meant that he had to completely eliminate gluten from his diet.
As a trained chef with years of experience in the food industry, Mario took this diagnosis as a challenge to create delicious and healthy gluten-free dishes that would satisfy his taste buds and nourish his body. He started experimenting with different ingredients and recipes, and soon became an expert in gluten-free cooking.
Mario's passion for gluten-free food led him to receive a strong reputation at Akentannos, our Sardinian restaurant down the road that specialises in gluten-free dishes.

However, Mario wanted to create a more casual and relaxed atmosphere where people could grab a quick bite or drink, without compromising on quality or taste. That's when we decided to open Nue, Sheffield's first completely gluten-free cafe and deli.
All of our dishes are made from scratch using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, and are free from gluten, preservatives, and artificial additives.
